German Local Search App, Das Telefonbuch, integrates CIAmedia’s SDK to instantly double page impressions and calls to its advertisers
Leading telephone directory provides a solution to missed merchant mobile calls
Vienna, 14 January 2013: Mobile ad-tech company, CIAmedia today announced a deal with German print, online and mobile telephone directory service Das Telefonbuch. The directory has added CIAmedia’s patented call triggered advertising SDK into its Android App giving its user an automated and easy to use number suggest service.
Each time a user makes an unanswered business call, the CIAmedia SDK automatically provides alternative merchants based on location and merchant type which the user can then click to call. Up to 40% of business calls go unanswered when users call outside office hours, lines are busy, numbers are discontinued, businesses simply don’t answer the phone, or the user only gets through to voicemail.
The CIAmedia SDK operates as part of the Das Telefonbuch app, in the background, so that alternatives are suggested to the user, even when the app is closed. With CIAmedia’s technology inside the Das Telefonbuch app can now detect any unsuccessful business call, independent of where the user sourced and dialled the number from, e.g. following a search on Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yelp, Foursquare or any other site or app.
The service will drive more calls to Das Telefonbuch advertisers, greatly increasing value for advertisers that subscribe and appear in its directory. In addition, CIAmedia’s SDK multiplies impressions within the Das Telefonbuch App as every time a user cannot get through to a business the app automatically displays suggestions to the user, greatly increasing the value of its in-app inventory.
